The
company’s first professional camera (a Canon XL1s) was won
at a film festival, before that we were using a single Panasonic
consumer handheld (Panasonic NV-DS25).
This Panasonic consumer handheld
was great – rolling faithfully at extreme temperatures from
more than 30 degrees centigrade
in hot-hot Singapore to -30 degrees centigrade in snowy Finland.
We
haven’t tested the Canon in Finland yet... but we’ll
let you know.
The
boy represents us.
The angel is from God. (He is giving us the gifts and talents we
have.)
And the moon is the company – without light on its own, but
shining because it reflects the light of the sun.
So
our logo is really a picture to remind us about who we were, who
we are now, how we got here, and what we’re supposed to
be doing. If you understand this picture, you’ll understand
a lot about how our company works – it’s like a picture
of our core beliefs and values that we never want to hide, change,
or forget.
