2. To Market, To Market...
Richmanclub Studios will be participating in this year’s Asian Media Festival at its Asian Film Market!
It’s our very first outing to the market so we’re excited and happy and just a little bit terrified.

3. THE ALIEN INVASION Worldwide Digital Launch Results
If you had seen THE ALIEN INVASION this digital launch, you are one out of approximately 204460 visitors who have viewed/downloaded/shared the movie. Here’s a huge thank you for your support. We heard that the loading time due to the high internet traffic took forever – and even if it took you the whole of October* to download it, you still did, and for that: Thank you very much for your patience!

Worldwide-ness (Where THE ALIEN INVASION landed):
Most of our viewers were from USA, followed by Great Britain, Australia, and our home, Singapore. Other interesting places where THE ALIEN INVASION went include Senegal, Honduras, Iran, and Fiji. Cool!

Digital-ness (How THE ALIEN INVASION infiltrated your defences):
Although THE ALIEN INVASION seeped into your lives through all the digital means available, the Top 3 downloads are: High Quality Download, iPod, and online streaming.

Launch-ness (Media Coverage):
Online media coverage was pretty extensive with features on websites like Digital Producer, MovieXclusive, YouthSG, First Magazine, Channel News Asia Primetime Morning, and lots of other articles all over the place!

NB: Screenplayer.sg featured a banner of The Alien Invasion’s Digital Launch on their website out of goodwill.

We’d like to thank God for the launch success and inspiration, as well as the opportunity to work with everyone who’ve made the launch so successful especially vMix for hosting the files.

DivX Inc. heard of the digital launch, contacted us in October, and presented us with a complimentary Pro version of their video software. Thus very soon, you can download and watch The Alien Invasion in the high quality, yet small file sized DivX video on many more devices.

What’s next? That’s a secret, but look out for more online short films and other exciting happenings here!

(* Exaggerated a little. Longest we heard about was one night…a guy went to watch a Liverpool soccer match while waiting for the download to complete…and his wife accidentally shut down the computer while it was downloading at 30%)
